The Art of Creating a Car

A belief is just a thought you think, over and over.   I heard this sentence over and over in many different seminars, workshops and most recently on the CD “The “Vortex,” by Abraham-Hicks.   For anyone who is new to deliberate creation or the art of allowing, Abraham-Hicks offers insight on how we create our lives.  Their work was partly the inspiration for the movie “The Secret.”  Change your thoughts and you change your reality.

I believe in the laws in the Universe.  I believe I create my life.  I think thoughts, feel feelings, take actions and that equals my current reality.   Thinking thoughts over and over create my belief and the Universe creates the evidence.  If I like the evidence I can continue to create it or tweak the formula and change my reality.

One of the ways I work with myself is changing the language or the words I use.  Being mindful of what I say and how I say it make a huge difference.  For example, if I am telling a friend  “I don’t want to drive that mini van anymore.”  I immediately change my sentence to what I do want.  “I want to own a new car.”   By stating what I want, I can begin to effect change in my life.  I ask the Universe all the time to assist me in creating my life in a way that feels good.

My intuition comes in and gently guides my thoughts.  When I’m paying attention, my inner wisdom will guide me to hear the things I need to hear.  Incorporating that into my what wording I use.   Refining my art of deliberate creation though my words have made all the difference.

I am currently working on something I don’t know how will turn out.  I want a new car.  My mini van, is 15 years old and while it has been very reliable, it’s getting to be time to upgrade.  I don’t know how, but I will have a new car very soon.  My focus is on what I desire, not on what is.  The words I am using are “I am enjoying my new car that I can easily afford. I love how my new car drives.  It feels great to give my friends rides in my new car.  I love how good it feels to purchase a car with cash.”

The other piece that has to align is the feeling.  Starting with gratitude for the car I have.  Thanking the van for being reliable and wonderful for this long puts me into alignment.
Gratitude is one of the best ways to get into the flow of creation.

The next step would be to take action.  I am looking online for new cars.  Feeling how it feels to write a check for it and getting into my new vehicle.  My next action will be to take a test drive.

Thinking the thoughts, refining my words, feeling how it feels and taking action, will change my reality.  Look for me in my new car, and no, it won’t be a mini van.

In my next blog, I’ll talk about resistance and how to get into the flow when you feel stuck.
