RUT ROH Mercury Retrograde by Janice Michael

Saturday at 9:00 PM Pacific Time, Mercury will begin another retrograde motion until May 11th. This trip will be in the sign of Taurus. Taurus is a fixed, earth sign and is called the ‘immovable’ object. Meaning, it’s the most fixed of all the fixed signs. Think of the bull in the meadow, it’s docile and content until someone waves a red flag under it’s nose. Talk about getting your nose out of joint! They are similar to Libra in the complacent department but again, don’t get them mad. When they blow they don’t know how big this things going to get!!

When the planet Mercury enters the sign of Taurus it feels pretty comfortable with it’s easy lifestyle and wants to share what they know with others. They like to have ‘gatherings’ to help communicate what they have and what they can do in the entertainment department. They’ll make purchases that are comfortable for them and others. They’ll cook delicious foods to show off their skills. It’s a high time for them.

Now what happens when it goes into a retrograde motion for 3 weeks? Well, normally we watch for Mercurial things like missing phone calls, miscommunication and having to repeat things because the other person didn’t ‘get it’ or you were told something but totally forgot! In Taurus we want to be careful of our purchases. Make sure they are returnable if they don’t work out in your space. Also, when you buy something in Taurus you usually have it for a long time so you better like it….a lot. Taurus doesn’t like to dwell in the details so with Mercury retrograde there I say, “make a list (for a change) and check it twice.
