Organic, or is it?

The other day I was making an apple crisp for dessert. I thought I was making the healthiest version, using organic apples, butter and other ingredients. I tend to multi task while baking and I was talking on the phone to a friend. He said “I can’t eat that if it’s not organic.” I replied “it is! I’m using all organic ingredients, including the flour.” He asked if the flour was white?
It was. He said “then, it’s not organic.”
The label said it was, but in reality it wasn’t .
I was trusting that buying organic meant I was buying organic.

I will be researching brands that I can use that are truly organic and what does that mean. I know now, that any flour that is bleached isn’t organic.
The apple crisp rocked even though it wasn’t organic.
