What I learned from Facebook

I love Facebook. A friend of mine e-mailed me and asked where our mutual friend had gone and requested her number as she couldn’t find it and was concerned. I looked on her page and she was gone! So, I found her number that was stored in the mail exchanges and somehow actually made it in my phone contact list and called her.

My friend was happy to hear not only from me, but from the other people who noticed her presence missing. She was going through a hard time. It was what she needed. Someone to reach out and let her know, she’s not alone and she’s very much loved. We are all connected and with social networks, we can reach out easily to see how someone is doing.

Today, just notice and give thanks for the people in your life. I thank my Facebook friends all 840 of them and to my real life interactive friends, thank you too!

Feel Better!

People I have been working with have been feeling freaked out lately. Nothing seems to be going in the right direction. I have felt this even though I’m pretty even keeled. I have had recurring negative thoughts which in tern create negative energy. Nothing seems right, nothing seems to flow, nothing makes me happy.

When this happens, I unplug. Pull away from the routine, the computer and anything that makes me resistant. I put on my favorite comfy pants, turn on some music,(Pandora is a favorite) and just allow myself to shift. Taking inventory on my basic needs, I evaluate whether or not I have been well fed, rested and exercised. If my basic needs aren’t met, life doesn’t work.

I love to listen to Abraham-Hicks videos on Youtube. The message reminds me to stay aligned with what feels good. Today, I learned that the negative energy I was feeling was needing a bit of a shift. I wrote out the positive aspects of a situation that I have been struggling with. Writing down even one or two things helped me feel better.

If you are feeling out of sorts, unplug, assess your basic needs, fulfill anything that hasn’t been taken care of. Shifting to something better is easier than you think.

You Can Have it All!

I like to start my day with something uplifting. Today, I chose to watch a Youtube video from Abraham-Hicks, titled “You CAN have it all.” It featured a trucker who wanted to have the freedom to drive a truck and to golf. The main message was about having it all and allowing it from the perspective of what you want. You can’t have something you want from the perspective of “don’t want.”

I have been training myself to focus and feel more from the point of what I do want. Watching the video reminded me that when we focus on why we want something. For example, the trucker loved the feel of the open road, enjoyed the freedom and also felt that way when he played golf. He got confused thinking he couldn’t have the joy of trucking AND the freedom to golf. After Esther asked him what he liked about both, trucking and golfing the answer came clear.

The great outcome of this story was Esther and Jerry hired the trucker. I love stories like that. I can have it all. I can have the freedom to work with people and love doing it and the flexibility and balance to have the life I want.

Are you staying in relationships that are draining, toxic or otherwise mostly unhappy?
Do you keep around numbers of old boyfriend or girlfriends that you don’t ever want to hear from or they are just habits in your life?

Today, think about what nourishes you, what pleases you, what feels good. Who in your life is your cheerleader, your support, your bestie? Feel what it feels like to have them in your life. Does it feel good? It should.

Then, think about the people who you don’t want to talk to, whose calls you avoid, who you need a nap or a good workout after being in contact with them. Feel how your body feels just thinking about them. Feel crummy, drained, agitated?

The most powerful button is the delete button. Take your phone and delete anyone who isn’t someone who you feel good about. Go to your e-mail box, clear out anything that drains you. Just delete. You may have one friend left, but that’s all you need. One good friend beats 20 mediocre or toxic ones.

Delete and be free.

Get Back to Basics

Today, on my show, Bear Medicine Walker was my guest. She discussed our need to get reconnected with our divine selves. To remember life is a journey and to connect with forgotten knowledge within ourselves.
One of my rituals is selecting an angel card of the day and putting it on my alter. Next, I select an essential oil or oils that I feel supports me. Today’s oik is geranium. I love it’s smell and it raises my vibration. I light a candle on my alter and begin my day.
If you listen to my show, I report 3 things that I am grateful for and 3 goals that I wish to achieve.
My goal today is to connect to my children and to my self in a way that feels sacred and positive.

Being Part of the Oil Spill Situation

Want to be a part of the problem or solution?

On today’s show, Deborah Fischer and I talked about frequency work and raising the vibration to help the environment. The shame and blame regarding the Oil Spill, I thought it would be a good idea to send energy or prayer to visualize the stopping of the oil and clean up. It’s always better to send positive energy. It’s good for those of us who can send healing and visualize the stopping of the oil spill and the quick clean up.

If you would like to join in sending positive energy here is a good exercise to do. It’s easy! First, find a picture of the oil spill. Take a few deep breaths. Tune in and surround the spill with light. Ask that a quick resolution in the highest good and gain for all is attained now. Visualize or feel the oil flow stopping. See the clean up or feel the clean up occurring. Visualize or feel the water clean and clear.

Ask that those who make decisions regarding oil and anyone that might make decisions make them in the highest good for all concerned.

Sit quietly knowing you have helped make this happen. Surround yourself with a white light bubble. Feel the energy of gratitude fill you.
